Why I Personally Love Traveling

Hello everybody! I hope you all are enjoying your week! I decided to make a blog post dedicated to why I love to travel. Traveling is something I hold near and dear to my heart for multiple reasons and I wanted to share those reasons with you guys.

It’s hard to pinpoint what my favorite thing about traveling is, but learning about different cultures around the world probably takes the cake. I love immersing myself in other cultures, meeting people from various backgrounds, and gaining knowledge on the different customs and traditions the world has to offer. This earth is filled with so many interesting and unique people and they all have a story to tell. While I was living in Italy, I met the sweetest lady. She was older and she would cook me homemade meals and compliment me all the time. She used to be a seamstress and taught young girls how to sew. I still think about her and the thought of her always puts a smile on my face. That is just one example of the beauty of traveling. I believe it is very important to learn about the culture of the place you are traveling to. Not just out of respect, but it also makes your stay that much more memorable and lifechanging.

As a history lover, I absolutely love going to museums and seeing historical monuments. I could spend 24 hours in a museum and never get bored. I also love the ocean. I know many people are scared of what lurks beneath the surface, but I personally find it captivating. I love to swim. I love the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The ocean calms me and it relaxes me. It’s like a whole other world inside of it. Funny enough, I will admit that I am actually a city girl through and through. I adore traveling to major cities and just walking around for hours. The energy cities radiate is so inspirational to me. I love how everyone has their own style, their own career, and their own life journey. Cities are where people are not afraid to be themselves and that is wonderful to me. However, I enjoy connecting with nature as well. I like to hear the birds chirping and the leaves rustling through the wind. I love plants and flowers. I’m a huge animal lover so I enjoy seeing animals of all kids in their natural habitats. Mountains are so remarkable to me. The process of how they are created is just fascinating. I love watching sunsets and sunrises (if I can get up that early). There is something so serene and enchanting about connecting with nature.

If you made it this far, I would just like to say thank you for reading this. I could talk about my love for traveling all day. This world has so much to offer, you just have to go out there and see it!
