Coolest Things To See And Do In London

Having family friends that are from London, I have been to the city a few times myself. It is definitely one of my favorite places to visit! I love the vibrant feel of London. It is a perfect blend of old and new. Here are my absolute favorite things to do in the city of London that I highly recommend to anyone that is planning a trip there!

The London Eye

The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel that overlooks the entire city. It gives you the most incredible view of London that you will not find anywhere else and you can see Big Ben from up there too!

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

I could not believe how accurate so many of the wax figures were. There was such a wide range of celebrities and historical figures to see. You can even take pictures with them as well!

Piccadilly Circus

Piccadilly Circus is a road junction and public space of London’s West End in the City of Westminster. The streets are always booming with people, music and street performers. When I went, there was a man playing the bag pipes.

Shakespeare’s Globe

As a big Shakespeare fan, I have to put his theatre on the list. Shakespeare’s Globe is a reconstruction of The Globe theatre, where William Shakespeare wrote his plays. The theatre really transports you back to Shakespearean days and the actors, of course, are always phenomenal.

Harry Potter Studio Tour

As a HUGE Harry Potter fan, this tour was a must for me! Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is a walkthrough exhibition and tour that takes you behind the scenes of the Harry Potter universe. You get to see everything up close and personal! It’s an unforgettable experience!

Jack The Ripper Tour

I love watching true crime documentaries and Jack The Ripper is known as the world’s “first serial killer”, so it was only right for me to take this tour. The tour takes you on a walk of the old alleyways that Jack used to frequent and shows you the actual locations of the murder sites. It’s a creepy, but intriguing tour that you will not find anywhere else.

Camden Street

If you are a fashionista like me or music head (also like me), or you just enjoy seeing people creatively express themselves, then Camden Street is the place for you. The street is home to so many unique shops, spots, and street art, there is no way you are leaving there uninspired.

Buckingham Palace

My list wouldn’t feel complete without the famous Buckingham Palace. No, you don’t get to see the Queen, but during the summer months you do get to go inside the beautiful Palace and walk through the gorgeous halls of the historical landmark.
