Best Sites To Visit in Rome & Vatican City

Living in Rome was a dream come true! Everyday I found an ancient building or piece of art to fall in love with and inspire me. Exploring lead to the most beautiful discoveries I could imagine. There is something gorgeous to see on every corner in the Eternal City!

These are the must-see breathtaking sites that I would go back to time and time again while I was there because I just couldn’t get enough. I hope these recommendations are helpful to you!

St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City

Altar of the Fatherland

Campidoglio Square

Colosseum

Piazza Navona

Vatican Museums

Trevi Fountain

Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano

The Campidoglio Square, Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and Altar of the Fatherland (minus the museum) are all free to visit. St. Peter’s Basilica, Colosseum and Vatican Museums require an admissions ticket to enter. But I promise you it is well worth it. You will never forget visiting any of these stunning sites. I also highly recommend seeing The Sistine Chapel! I cannot provide any pictures due to their no photo taking policy, but it is magical to see in person.

Stay safe everyone and talk to you soon.
