Book Recommendations

Hi everyone! I am an active reader. I love cracking open a good book and getting lost in it. One of my favorite times to read is, you guessed it, while traveling! Whether it’s on a flight, on the beach or at the pool, reading while on vacation always relaxes and calms me. Here are some of my all time favorite books!

Disclaimer: Majority of these books are mysteries since that is my favorite genre to read. Also, these books are in no particular order.

“The Turn Of The Key” – Ruth Ware.

A suspenseful mystery filled with surprising plot twists. I personally really enjoyed this book. It had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. We need a (good) movie adaption ASAP.

“The Woman In The Window” – A.J Finn.

This novel is full of twists and turns, shocking secrets and thrilling events. I was unable to put the book down when I first read it. It’s so unpredictable! I’m still startled.

“The Name Of The Star” – Maureen Johnson.

I absolutely love how this book manages to combine mystery with history. It’s captivating, interesting, and exciting. I highly recommend this novel to anybody and everybody!

“La Rose” – Louise Erdrich.

This novel is completely different from the others I posted. It is a beautiful story about family, culture, heartbreak and tragedy. I learned so much from reading this book.

“The Miraculous Journey Of Edward Tulane” – Kate DiCamillo.

If you have children, younger siblings, or if you yourself enjoy stories about animals (I do and I’m not ashamed to admit it) then read this book! It is beautifully written, taking you on a journey of a life time in this adorable classic.
